Validation Engineer

SUMMARY
Within the Validation & Support division, you will join a dynamic team already composed of 15 members spread over 2 sites. You will work in close collaboration with the development teams.
You will evolve in a multicultural environment at the forefront of innovation and validate products based on virtual reality, optical simulation and co-simulation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Validation of functional specifications and their translations to validation plans.
  • Writing test cases and creating test data
  • Execution of tests and use cases ensuring quality control
  • The analysis of results and their communication
  • The creation and the follow-up of defects as well as the validation of the corrections
  • Optical rendering validation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of simulation and co-simulation
  • Notions on software validation & SDLC
  • Notions in scripting and C++

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduated from an engineering school, master 2 or equivalent degree with significant experience of 1 to 3 years in optics. You master photometry.
  • Practical knowledge of MATLAB SIMULINK®
  • Technical skills: practical experience in VR or simulators (video games, 3D, AR…)
  • You have good communication skills.
  • You are autonomous, open-minded, curious, methodical and with a very good team spirit.
  • Good English
