Software Developer Engineer

SUMMARY
The Research and Development department of our Systems Business Unit is looking for a WPF Lead Developer to take part in the architecture foundation and implementation of the next generation of development environments marketed by ANSYS / Esterel Technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The first mission is to build up the architecture of WPF desktop applications as parts of the distributed infrastructure of the next generation of our tools. You will also take part in the selection and the evaluation of the corresponding technologies.
• You will be part of our R&D team. You will participate with respect of quality process to:
• Prototype development,
• Specification, architecture, algorithm definition,
• Design & Coding activities.
• You will work closely with others development, test, marketing, and quality-assurance teams.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• You have completed a MS in Engineering with specific competency in Software Engineering and .NET / WPF application architecture and design.
• You have a previous experience (at least 5 years) in software design and development with the .NET framework and a sound knowledge of the different technologies involved in modern applications and UI. You have an expert knowledge of WPF and can compose with the state of the art of the .NET guidance, patterns and libraries to design and build desktop applications.
• You like team working, sharing and confronting ideas on technical subjects. You give the same value to ergonomics and UX matters as to technical ones.
• Your expertise spans software development, software architecture, usability, and development processes for best-in-class applications and UI.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Expertise in several technologies used by Systems Business Unit assets:
• Languages: C#, XAML
• Framework: .NET (Standard, Core, Framework), WPF, unit testing frameworks
• Configuration Management: GIT, TFS, Nuget
• Development methods: DDD, Agile
