Senior Product Marketing Specialist

SUMMARY
The Senior Product Marketing Specialist - SBU will drive business growth of the ANSYS Systems Business Unit products and solutions in the area of Systems, Embedded Software and Functional Safety. This includes developing marketing strategies and programs and then directing them through field marketing teams and ANSYS channel partners.

The Senior Product Marketing Specialist - SBU will also be responsible for creating and developing marketing plans, sales collateral and lead generation campaign kits along with opportunities for new business by generating qualified leads for the ANSYS sales team. The focus is to provide both the ANSYS field marketing organization and the corporate marketing organization with plans and assets that can effectively be used to promote ANSYS products through a wide variety of channels.

Additionally, this position ensures that all product-related marketing vehicles, such as the web site, presentations, white papers, social media and advertising are maintained with the most up to date information, while determining new strategies and tactics for promoting the products to a wide audience, both internal to ANSYS and external

The Senior Product Marketing Specialist also ensures that all SBU-related leads are tracked and marketing campaigns are accurately reported in order to measure success against initial goals.

The Senior Product Marketing Specialist is an active team player, fostering collaboration to achieve joint goals across a variety of departments, including sales, corporate marketing, development, and field marketing to name a few.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Enablement
●Ensure sales enablement by working with the sales management in order to develop and provide the tools, sales strategies and means to win business
●Manage the internal communication and collaborate on sales training for SBU-related initiatives including products, applications and mega trends.

Marketing Awareness and Lead Generation
●Develop and maintain strategies for lead generation, including advertising, social media, web site content, white papers, webinars, demos and events.
●Create and implement web seminar program with the product development and sales teams, as well as with external partners.
●Collaborate with various teams to manage tradeshow, conferences and seminar schedule through integration into worldwide field marketing calendar. Work with the appropriate field marketing teams to help them execute events logistics, including paper submissions, booth creation, asset development, team coordination and event follow-up.
●Manage relevant web site content and continually provide input on new strategies and tactics to increase visibility on ANSYS.com and third party web sites.

Market Intelligence
●Through customer and sales interviews along with competitive analysis, gain insight into customer use of current products and provide feedback to other team members. Conduct marketing research to understand future trends, customer requirements and competitive technology to develop a clear strategy for future growth.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
●Technical degree, Master’s Degree or Equivalent
●Minimum 8 years working in a product marketing or management, corporate communications or field marketing within a technical software company
●Technical skills: marketing culture and expertise in operational marketing; editorial and presentation capability; knowledge of the systems and embedded software development market, understanding of the systems and embedded software development process; ability to work with other disciplines including sales, development, and other executive management
●Ability to leverage social media to identify and engage with key decision makers
●Understanding of sales automation tools (SalesForce.com experience is a plus)
●Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in local language
●Excellent English Proficiency required
●Highly self-motivated and results driven
