Senior DevOps Engineer F/H

ANSYS licensing drives the monetization of ANSYS’s world-class software products and is thus a critical segment of the company business. We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead the deployment of our licensing solution into the cloud, so we can deliver to our customers a dynamic licensing experience.

  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipeline and automated testing pipeline using DevOps tools.
  • Install, configure, automate, and monitor various cloud services.
  • Design state-of-the-art technical solutions on the Cloud that address customer requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
  • Advocate for technical operations best practices, standards, and processes.
  • Monitor and report on issues, and provide root-cause analysis and potential solutions to address the issues.
  • Establish and measure SLA standards. Provide monthly SLA Reports and quarterly reviews, and provide root-cause analysis for issues and solutions to address the issues.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, with a minimum of eight years of related experience.
  • Broad automation experience in build, test, configuration, and deployment in complex environments from development to production.
  • Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD concepts using tools like TFS/Azure, Jenkins, or TeamCity.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud services.
  • Experience with integrating REST and SOAP APIs into apps using languages like Node.JS, Python, or C#.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a geographically distributed team.

  • Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field, with a minimum of five years of related experience.
  • Experience with monitoring and log aggregating frameworks like Datadog, Splunk, and Azure Monitor.
  • Hands-on experience in Software Monetization platforms like Flexera/FlexNet, Safenet/Gemalto, and Nalpeiron.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure services such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Notebooks
  • AWS or Azure Cloud Platform Certifications
