Senior Analyst, FP&A

SUMMARY
The Senior Analyst, FP&A will be a key player in the development of the FP&A Data Mart which will be the key data driver for delivering automated reporting solutions via dashboards or other user-friendly report methods. Furthermore, the individual will work with other departments both within and outside of FP&A to enhance various manual processes into automated solutions. This person will also serve a vital role in the annual budget cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the development and enhancement of a new FP&A data mart using SQL Server
• Use SQL to write the code needed to derive the tables needed to support key business making decisions
• Develop dashboards or other user-friendly reports as needed to support the requirements of the business
• Assist with the development and communication of the budgeting process
• Partner with various stakeholders across ANSYS including other business units and Accounting

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting
• Strong SQL skills including deriving new tables
• Familiarity with budgeting software such as Hyperion or TM1
• Five or more years of relevant work experience
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite with exceptional Excel skills
• A strong FP&A background
• Ability to deliver accurate, on-time results
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Accounting, Finance
• A professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA)
• Dashboarding experience
• Understanding of corporate financial planning, reporting & analysis, and costing/profitability methodologies and processes
• Understanding of common business and cost drivers, financial statement analysis, and deep-dive analysis
