R&D Engineer II - Twin Builder

SUMMARY
The Twin Builder development team has an exciting opportunity for a R&D Engineer to help build and extend our state of art system simulation products for system validation and operational analysis. The successful candidate will drive research and development of our simulators, develop of new features and innovative algorithms, participate in defining requirements and specifications, and be responsible for design, development, and maintenance of features and algorithms. Join us in building and extending the first of its kind offering that combines the Electro-Mechanical, Fluid-Mechanical and Control worlds to enable true system simulation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Develop and maintain cross-platform core solver techniques for circuit and system simulation
•Develop and maintain the cross-platform automated work flow for digital twin generation, verification and deployment
•Design and implement solutions to improve product quality.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
•Knowledge of system level design, modeling and simulation
•Familiarity with standardized modeling languages like VHDL-AMS, Verilog-AMS, Modelica, etc
•Software development experience Python, Java or C/C++
•Fundamental understanding of software design and verification
•Ability to complete high quality work on time.
•Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Understanding of IoT (Internet of Things), Digital Twins, and their challenges
•Development experience with Windows and Linux
•Understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance
•Experience with Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server is a plus
•Experience with Agile project management
•Good communication skills with all levels of employees, good team player
