Product Marketing Specialist - Fluids

The Product Marketing Specialist works to drive growth in the ANSYS Fluids product line. As a key member of our dynamic go to market team, the Product Marketing Specialist will engage with the engineers worldwide across diverse industries to expand the overall awareness of the Fluids product line and ensure that the Fluids campaigns are exceeding their reach and demand generation goals.

  • Understand Fluids products and applications to articulate product value and develop messaging. Create clear messages about the product line for users, buyers and other personas that are a part of the buying process.
  • Develop and manage creation of product marketing content (eg. videos, white papers etc.) to support campaigns.
  • Be a trusted partner for the global go to market team including corporate marketing, field marketing, support, sales and channel partners to promote ANSYS Fluids products.
  • Help to plan and execute marketing campaigns that help drive opportunities for ANSYS sales and our channel partners.
  • Help to develop and manage go-to-market and launch plans for new products.
  • Deliver sales enablement content and training to ANSYS and channel partner sales teams.
  • Analyze sales performance to replicate successes while also understanding opportunities to adjust marketing program tactics.
  • Be an evangelist for fluid simulation products when communicating with customers and the sales teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or Bachelor of Science degree with technical marketing experience.
  • Strong understanding of engineering analysis and technology and ability to articulate complex engineering concepts.
  • Demonstrated success managing marketing lead generation campaigns and sales enablement programs.
  • Ability to use engineering simulation software, preferably ANSYS Fluent.
  • Critical thinking skills and business acumen
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel of 5-10%

  • MBA or technical advanced degree
  • Two years of experience in high tech marketing, product management, pre-sales, and/or sales desirable
  • Experience with B2C and B2B eCommerce platforms is a plus
  • Image and Video creation/editing experience
  • Experience with social media and other digital marketing tactics
