Manager, M&A Integration

SUMMARY
The Manager, M & A integration will report to the Senior Director, M & A integration and is a member of the Corporate Development team. The Manager, M & A integration is responsible for managing the integration of both current and future acquisitions and partnerships. The Manager will be expected to be able to plan and effectively manage all aspects of the integration project to insure the acquired company becomes fully integrated into the organization in a timely manner. This includes overseeing all functional areas and tasks related to the integration, including determining priorities and responsibilities, setting milestones, clearing roadblocks and reporting progress to senior management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Defines, tracks and communicates appropriate performance measurements to project team and stakeholders
•Works with a cross-functional team to align resources to integration plans, including systems and process on both sides
•Establishes and executes on acquisition and integration plans and methodologies
•Prepares appropriate documentation to close out integration projects and facilitate effective hand-offs
•Participates in the continuous improvement of ANSYS integration processes and best practices and helps refine and execute on ANSYS post-acquisition integration playbook
•Participate in the Due Diligence process to assist in the integration planning and high-level integration plan
•Acts as the primary liaison and point-of-contact to key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and manage operational "on the ground" teams during critical phases of integration
•Implements thoughtful business processes to support and integrate the acquired company
•Establishes metrics and KPI’s to measure the progress and success of achievement of the promised value of the deal and provides reports on team metrics, KPIs and results to Senior leadership and stakeholders
•Travels as needed to ensure effective communication and integration at all levels
•Collaborates with Senior leadership team to define and execute on acquisition integration priorities and goals
•Work with the Business Development to develop the integration strategy and source of value plans that support delivering all the promised value of the deal
•Form and lead the cross-functional team including Product, Human Resources, IT, Finance, Marketing and Legal to create an integration project plan
•Through a regular cadence of 1-on-1 meetings and team teleconferences, manage the project to keep the milestones on track and, using sound judgment and excellent teamwork skills, address any issues
•Makes presentations regarding project direction and recommendations to local leadership on integration initiatives

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s degree
•A minimum of 5 years of project management experience required
•Effective and collaborative communication style with the ability to customize approach for a variety of audiences ranging from senior executives to junior resources
•Strong customer orientation focus and success in creating a superior Customer Experience
•Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems or resolve issues in a timely manner
•Proficient in the MS Office Suite
•Strong track record of success in building solid working relationships within various areas/business functions of the company
•Strong aptitude in organizational skills including project management and time management
•Exceptional interpersonal skills with a high degree of approachability and the ability to work seamlessly in a team-oriented environment
•Ability to travel up to 25%
