Legal Analyst

SUMMARY
The Legal Analyst is responsible for supporting the company’s Global Business Ethics and Compliance program by assisting the Manager of Ethics and Compliance and the Associate General Counsel and other members of the Legal Department in developing, implementing, maintaining, and monitoring compliance policies, procedures and practices that are designed to detect and deter misconduct to help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Researches compliance legal requirements.
• Assists with the Conflicts of Interest review process.
• Assists with Gifts and Entertainment review process.
• Assists with policy implementations.
• Researches and develops content for compliance-related topics and delivers and coordinates training as needed.
• Administers on-line corporate policy management and ethics reporting tools.
• Prepares reports on compliance activities.
• Assists with updating the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other corporate policies.
• Assists with internal investigations including drafting, organizing and maintaining investigation files and documentation.
• Assists in completing sales and vendor questionnaires and compliance certifications.
• Assists in managing litigation files.
• Provides support for management of the Global Insurance Program.
• Maintains utmost confidentiality of compliance matters.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, paralegal certificate or equivalent. Years of experience may be a substitute for education.
• Three years of experience working in a corporate or legal setting. Proficiency with presentation and spreadsheet software tools.
• Excellent communication skills and superior intuition. Strong ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management and key external stakeholders and proven ability to engage, influence and align stakeholders. Capacity to think strategically to identify issues and develop long-term solutions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Paralegal experience preferred but not required.
