EMEA Channel Partner Sales Operations Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

The Channel Partner Sales Ops Specialist is primarily responsible for providing support to the software sales efforts and/or renewal activities for the EMEA Channel Partners including the Emerging Markets team. This role will perform administrative duties for mid-level managers and department professionals and requires knowledge of company policies and procedures. The role is largely based around the support of the Channel Partners but also includes handling a small amount of direct sales orders for the Emerging Markets sub region.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Act as the contact for ANSYS customer & Channel Partner needs; responding to questions on order status, account issues; license configuration etc. for all new and renewal software orders.
o Coordinate with the Sales Team and the customer(s) or Channel Partners with the preparation of quotes and licensing requests also reviews quotes for completeness, accuracy and adherence to company policy
o Administers all direct renewal opportunities for the Emerging Markets sub region within the CRM and provides support to other Channel Partners where needed on their renewals; including revenue reconciliation activities; generating renewal quotes; following up with Channel Partners or customers and maintaining an accurate renewal forecast within the CRM.
o Involve appropriate customers and internal groups (Account Managers, inside sales, Legal, Business Operations etc) to assure timely submission and processing of orders
o Assist Channel Partners with researching and understanding historical accounts, product order history, discounting and/or special pricing situations to help with quote generation as needed
o Coordinate with technical staff to resolve Customer Portal access problems & license installation issues
o Provide on-boarding assistance and training to new Channel Partners and ensure that Accounts and related Contacts, Opportunities, Quotes, Assets etc are correctly transferred across to Channel Partners where necessary in line with Sub Region ‘Go to Market’ requirements (including correct updates of Net to ANSYS revenues)
o Provide on-going refresher training to EMEA Channel Partner Sales Admins as required for updates to processes and policies.
o Work on ANSYS CRM Channel Partner Portal testing and training as required as part of the ANSYS CRM Super-User team.
o Occasional assistance to EMEA Sales Admin team may be required.
Support account administration activities, which may include the following:
o Completion of supplier forms and other requests for supplier set up
o Prepare and distribute License Change/ASC Change/Cosmetic Name change forms
o Assist in the completion of Transfer/Assignments; prepare documents & create required approval activities; submit paperwork to Business Operations team
o In accordance with current policies, create temporary and evaluation license keys appropriate for distribution to prospects and customers.
Provide administrative support to all levels of Sales, which includes providing administrative support for reconciling actual revenues to forecast and plan as well as helping new Account Managers & channel Partners with training on the proper paperwork and protocol for sales order processing
Involvement in CRM Data maintenance and administration
o Update existing CRM records with current information, which may include updating pricing and products for existing renewal opportunities, removing duplicate entries, logging notes, or other activities as directed
Assists with mentoring and training newer sales administrators
May also perform other administrative duties as assigned by the direct manager or other management staff.

JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree in business or accounting (two year program) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative, executive or secretarial positions in a corporate setting
At least 3 years in a sales administrator or order processing role
Good general communication and interpersonal skills as well as a professional appearance
Must have advanced knowledge of presentation and spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (including use of pivot tables and VLookUps)
Ability to handle confidential information
Extensive working knowledge of database/CRM systems
Detail oriented
