EMEA Human Resources Director (m/f)

The EMEA Human Resources Director will partner with Business Leaders and the corporate HR leadership team to develop a regional strategy to support business objectives and understand business requirements and needs. The EMEA HR Director will be responsible for partnering with centers of expertise in developing comprehensive HR strategies and leading HR programs in the areas of total rewards, talent management, organizational effectiveness, leadership and coaching. This role will lead the EMEA HR team and be a primary contributor on the International HR leadership team to support enterprise-wide initiatives. This role is also expected to be a key member of the EMEA Leadership Team.

• Identify and develop regional HR initiatives aligned with the overall company, business and HR strategy consistently across EMEA
• Lead and align the current HR team across EMEA to ensure the effective delivery of global people and business strategies
• Develop and communicate the objectives and goals for the regional HR teams, including talent development and process improvement activities
• Successfully liaise and work with business leaders and functional leaders within both the regional Commercial and Product teams to advance organizational performance within our global matrix environment
• Provide consultative and strategic advice on people and organizational issues to business leaders and regional leadership teams to maximize business, country and HR outcomes
• Continually challenge and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of HR programs and services and implement changes as appropriate to meet business and local cultural needs

• Degree (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent in Human Resources (MCIPD) or related field
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience, with a minimum of 7 years in management
• Advanced knowledge of EU / other EMEA countries employment laws and regulations
• Proven experience in proactively building appropriate relationships with and managing European Works Councils
• Experience in the functional areas of total rewards (compensation, variable incentives, bonus plans, etc.) as well as talent management and organizational development
• Experience in leading an effective, regional HR team in a multi-national, publicly-traded company
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective ongoing relationships through all levels of the organization including executives, business partners, functional managers and peers
• High-energy individual willing to get involved in all aspects of HR that can drive organizational change, talent development and bottom line growth
• Ability to function well independently, demonstrate ownership and self-sufficiency for project management and the achievement of agreed upon results
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English

• Comfortable delivering core HR training programs such as performance management
• Experience operating in a fast-paced, global matrix environment
• Managing complex and multiple priorities taking measured risks and appropriate corrective action
• Excellent team player at local, regional and international level
• Ability to travel within EMEA and internationally
