Embedded Software Automotive Expert Engineer

SUMMARY
ANSYS is seeking a highly motivated individual with technical experience and interest on embedded software design solutions for automotive applications on the vehicle of the future: battery management system, electric power train, and autonomous driving.

The consultant is a member of a worldwide expert team, within the ANSYS SCADE product development team. This position is in charge to provide technical expertise on embedded software solutions for successful adoption and deployment of ANSYS SCADE products in the Automotive sector.

The job can involve travelling to customers to deliver presentations and technical workshops.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides technical expertise on automotive embedded software solutions to pre-sales teams and customers in pre-sales and deployment phases
  • Integrates our solutions within the customer environment (in general AUTOSAR but can be proprietary)
  • Development of customized solutions
  • Works closely with the product development team to enhance our solution
  • Manages and disseminate knowledge and expertise within the company (in particular to the development and product management teams)
  • Is an integral player in building strong, cohesive ANSYS and customer teams capable of successfully completing complex automotive software projects
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
An ideal candidate should fulfill key requirements as given below:
  • Master's degree in software engineering
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive embedded software design
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR classic & adaptive
  • Experience in ADAS and Autonomous driving projects
  • Familiar with model-based design technology, including hardware, software, and prototyping solutions: SCADE, Simulink, dSpace, Vector tools
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 would be a plus
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Self-driven and highly motivated team player
  • Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent English
