Director, Corporate Treasury

SUMMARY
The Director, Corporate Treasury is responsible for oversight of investment of funds, management of credit agreements, supervision of cash management activities and raising capital to support mergers and acquisitions activity.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure sufficient funds exist for operational needs and excess funds are appropriately invested
  • Use hedging to mitigate financial risks related to the company’s foreign exchange positions, as well as interest rates on credit agreements
  • Advise management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-range planning
  • Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities
  • Arrange for equity and debt financing, as applicable
  • Provide recommendations regarding debt/equity mix and the effect on capital structure
  • Forecast cash flow
  • Communicate with the company’s Audit Committee and Board of Directors
  • Enforce and update the company’s investment policy
  • Recruit, train and manage team members
  • Oversee account collections and credit extensions
  • Maintain relationships with credit group banks and other key financial partners
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • Minimum 10 Years of relevant and progressive treasury management experience
  • Thorough understanding of investments, bank account management, international funds flow and credit facilities
  • Moderate to thorough understanding of derivatives and other hedging instruments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA or similar Master’s degree is preferred
  • Exposure to other relevant areas of finance preferred (e.g. accounting, FP&A, risk management, tax, etc.)
